Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to some of the questions we are asked most often. If you need any additional information, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Adoption Process

If you are interested to adopt one of the animals under our care, please fill out our adoption form. Once you have done that we will contact you to talk in more details about the process itself. You can meet the dog or cat before adopting to see if you think it would be a good fit for you and your family. If it is, then the adoption papers will need to be signed and the adoption fee would need to be paid that covers part of the spay/neuter, vaccination costs, medications (if it was needed) and daily care of the animal while they have been with our rescue.

Fostering

If you are interested to foster a dog or a cat, please fill out our foster form. We use fosters for short term or long term, so even if it is a short time frame you are available, we will be glad to hear from you. Once you filled out the form we will contact you and discuss which of our animals could be a good fit to be fostered by you. We will cover the care of the animal, but donations are always welcome if you can help in any way.

Meet & Greets

Most of our animals are in foster homes and some with our rescue at our location. Sometimes when we don't have enough foster homes, we might use boarding facilities temporarily for the animals who need somewhere to be placed while we search for a foster home or forever home for them. So based on the animal you are interested in we would arrange the meet & greet at the location where he/she is at. We would be able to give you full details about the history and behavior of the animal as well as their health status and any medical conditions if there is any.

Donations & Support

Our organization depends on public donations to cover all the costs related to the care of the animals under our rescue. We do not receive funds from other resources. So any donation you send to us will help greatly to support our animals in need.

You can find ways to donate here.
We have given further details on each of our animals with what kind of support they might need here.
If you would like to donate items to us, that is also welcome. This page provides more details on the type of things we always need.
We have some fundraisers as well that you might take a look focusing on some of our dogs.
If you wish to help us with your time, volunteering is a great way to do so. See our Volunteer page for more details.

Medical Care

All of our animals are up to date with their vet care, which includes their vaccines and routine check ups as well as any additional vet care in case they get sick. We also spay/neuter our animals to eliminate more dogs and cats ending up in shelters where they can be at risk of losing their lives. Once you adopt an animal, you will receive all their medical records so that you have all the information regarding him/her for future reference.

Transport & Location

Our rescue is located in Los Angeles, California. We rescue animals in the LA county. We adopt our animals locally but also out of state if we see that the home is the right fit for the animal in question. Transportation of the animal to another state might be via car, an animal transport company or airplane if it is further away. We can make the arrangements to help with the process using trusted partners we have used in the past.
