Luna
Luna has been rescued by Aesop's Legacy Animal Rescue and spent a bit of time with her short term foster. Then, she was supposed to go to a long term foster but sadly they pulled back. As her short term foster could not continue to foster due to health issues, Lulu ended up in boarding. Which is not what we had planned for her. She desperately needs a long term foster or forever home. For Lulu, it doesn't take long for her true, sweet colors to show! Once she knows she's safe, Lulu transforms into a gentle, affectionate companion who just wants to be near her people.!
Todd
This sweet senior Doberman walked out of the shelter alive, and I drove 12 hours round-trip to get him all the way to his incredible foster in Nevada. @todd_the_rod. After everything his old body has been through, Todd is finally somewhere quiet and safe. No kennel. No euthanasia deadline. No wondering if anyone is coming for him. Now, he is decompressing, healing, resting, and learning what it feels like to be safe. But saving Todd from euthanasia was only the beginning. He is underweight and needs medical care, good nutrition, and time for his old body to heal. We need donations to keep saving dogs like Todd. Every rescue means vet bills, medication, food, supplies, and transportation - and we simply cannot keep saying YES without your help. At around 9 years old and just 20 lbs, Teddy is a sweet, affectionate little guy who just wants a soft place to land and someone to love. He's past the puppy chaos but still has plenty of love, walks, cuddles, and companionship left to give. More photos of Teddy are coming soon!
Alyssa
She was on the verge of being euthanized, labeled “aggressive.” But from the moment she came home to me, I saw a terrified little girl who had simply been failed by her humans. The first few days, she hid in the smallest spaces she could find, keeping her head down and making herself as small as possible. With patience, love, and time, she slowly started coming out of her shell - taking treats from my hand, licking my fingers, leaving her crate, and even choosing to sleep beside me on the couch. She still has a long way to go, but she's learning that she's safe. Alyssa is looking for her forever home, someone who will continue to be patient with her as she navigates her new life!More photos of Alyssa are coming soon!
